Brent Pearson- President
Brent Pearson, President, has over 30 years of commercial and residential real estate experience including acquisitions, finance, development, disposition and asset management. As a founding member of RVW, Brent has been responsible for expanding of the companies portfolio through strategic acquisitions and is active in the overseeing their finance, development, construction and management activities. Enjoying the outdoors while in the lakes, on the ski mountains and trail systems across North America as well as the inside of the odd hockey rink, Brent spends time with his wife Samantha and children Brittany, Brodie and Kael.
Brent holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, a graduate degree in Accounting from Sir Wilfred Laurier University in Kitchener, and held a Certified Management Accounting designation.
Gavin Malia - V.P. Real estate
Gavin Malia, V.P. of Real Estate, has over 20 years of governmental and private sector development, entitlement and commercial property management experience. Gavin oversees RVW’s resort development projects and commercial property management on behalf of owners, lenders and equity partners. His diverse roles range from entitlement procurement and project management to leasing, and HOA and special district management. Prior to joining RVW, Gavin ran the Geographic Information System (GIS) Department for the City of Steamboat Springs. Gavin enjoys the benefits of all four seasons in the Rocky Mountains with his two sons, Seamus and Cooper.
Gavin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado and a Master of Business Administration degree from Colorado State University.
Kerry Shea - V.P. Sales & Marketing
Kerry Shea, V.P. of Sales & Marketing, is a licensed broker overseeing all sales and marketing efforts for RVW. With over 20 years of corporate and real estate sales experience, Kerry has closed over $100 million in commercial and residential transactions. Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Kerry has called Colorado home for over 25 years. Attracted to the climate, recreation and lifestyle, resort development has provided the vehicle to shape and enhance the communities that he calls home. When he is not focused on real estate, Kerry can be found enjoying the great outdoors or playing hockey with his wife Jennifer and two daughters, Claire and Margaux. Kerry is involved with numerous non-profit organizations including the president of the Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association, president of the Mountain Village Partnership, member of the Rotary Club of Steamboat Springs and past president of the Steamboat Springs Chamber. He earned the Steamboat Springs Business Person of the Year in 2019.
Kerry holds a Bachelors degree in Geography from the University of Colorado.
